Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how “Pulled back — living with a bare head” (futher on: the forum) uses and protects any information that you give when you use this website.
The forum is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
The forum may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 2018-05-25.

tl;dr
– As all web sites in the world, this forum uses cookies to function, otherwise you wouldn't be able to be “logged in” as HTTP was designed to be a stateless protocol.  Cookies have been in use since the early Netscape days, over 20 years ago, and pose no direct threat whatsover.
– The cookies set by this website are only used within this forum.
– We log your IP address as part of the forum's and the web server's normal functionality.  It can be used to ban spammers and misbehaving users or domains.  These logs are not used for anything else and not given to third parties.
– There are no ads, don't worry about them stealing your data.
– You are not forced to share Personally Identifying Data about yourself whatsoever, in fact, you can use an email address for registration that is dedicated to this site.  The forum software uses your email to send you password reset, and notification emails, all of which are either requested or useful, or opt-in.
– We don't ask you your name, birthday/age, sex, or location; if you share some of those with the community, it really is your own choice.  Your username is not displayed, and your displayed name can be pretty much anything.
– It is also on your own volition to share messenger contacts in your profile — the forum will obviously store and share these as you wish.  You may of course create messenger IDs that do not link to your person if you wish.
– GDPR requires you to be 16 or over.  The forum has no means to check if you really are.
– You have the right to be forgotten, but if you didn't share anything personally identifying, there's pretty much no point.

The following policy text was shipped with the GDPR Helper mod and tailored to reflect the forum's settings.
