Just because you don't feel anything from the alcohol, like stinging, for example, that doesn't mean that it's stopped working. In fact, I think it suggests the opposite. When you first started using the alcohol, it did sting a little, right? And now it doesn't. That means that the glans has toughened up to the point where it doesn't sting anymore. That means it's working. And I think it will continue to work, you just won't feel it like you used to.
Agree. Just because there is less sensation it doesn't mean the effect is wearing off. In fact it confirms that the process has worked, and is working. Morning and evening is now enough for me. I am retracted 24/7/52/365 ;) without having to do anything. It is now who/what I am.

After 6 years of pulling back I've noticed that my foreskin has become evn looser, and the rigid band is very loose. The foreskin doesn't shrink drastically. Of course, one should observe the situation, but in my case, it's gotten noticeably looser.

Hello Guys!

I am retracting for two years now and it has been better and better. I will post my update (story) in different post.

However I was having a thought - what is the chance to get paraphimosis if you have been pulled back for couple of years?

Over time foreskin will gradually roll forward less and less to the point of "permanent" retraction and I wanted to ask if anyone who have retracted for some months or years ever had the case to get paraphimosis.

What do you think?

The problem with alcohol is that it kills bacteria, even the “good” ones.  You risk getting a yeast infection.
Doesn´t soap kill the bacteria as well? and (i hope) we still washing our penises with it everyday...

Hey all,
Im new here I have a question about pulling back the foreskin. I tried the spoon method to pull the foreskin back and it’s kinda working but because I have a really long foreskin, the tugged in foreskin still goes over the glans (but this only occurs in a flaccid state) Anyone here who has also a really long foreskin and can help ?

Grower with a turtleneck here, spoon works ok if you get it exactly right but easily becomes undone. I switched to wearing a silicone cock ring behind the glans and it works super well, been doing that over 10 years now. The only thing I'm missing is a way to dry up the inner foreskin better.

Retracting for 22 years, now.
Wow! It's just a golden standard of permanent foreskin retraction.

Looks like you have loosened the tight band that you had in your older photos. Have you been purposely stretching that area?

Hello everyone. I don't want to make this a book, so I will be brief.

My penis was 100% clean and healthy prior to Jan 2024. I haven't had a lot of partners, and the last time I had sex with a girl was 2016. I had a long term from 2012 to 2014 that I rawdogged at least once a week. Never had issues.

Well, a guy I know who's an acquaintance started asking me about my sex life. He was basically like "Mellon, you look so stressed out, you should come when I go to get a rub and tug". I wasn't thinking about it, but in the moment, the temptation to try it got the best of me, and we went.

A girl who looked clean started stroking me with no rubber. Then I went home and took a shower (roughly a 45min drive). I didn't even enjoy the experience that much, it was so forced, but 3 days later, BAM I have a infection. My glans is red and has red dots all over. Oh great, I got infected by something. So angry with this guy, I have blocked him, but now trying to figure out what to do about the infection. I waited two weeks and noticed the inflammation went down a bit (like 30%?), but not getting bettter.

So I go to the doctor: Get Clotrimazole 1%. I use it twice a day for a week, did not make a difference. I go again. This time I get Lamisil. Use it twice a day for a week, and it brought the inflammation down by about 50%. 2nd week of use gave no further change.

I then tried some home remedies: Tried plain yogurt, and infused it with some vaginal probiotic capsules, then used this for about 1 week, no change. I then read about Boric Acid, and tried it on my glans for 3 days, no change, and it was actually aggravating it.

So I give up and go back to doc: I get Itraconazole 400mg a day. I take it for 5 days, and zero change. I go back to doc to report, and he referred me to a dermatologist.

I just got the appointment today, it's until end of April. Thru my work we have some health benefits. I'm trying to reach a dermatologist thru there. In the meantime I am stuck here, no idea if I have a drug resistant Candida infection (based on everything I've read and what my penis looks like, it "appears" to be fungal), OR if I have a bacterial infection. The GP did not want to give me anything else, and if I get lucky, I will be able to talk to a dermatologist in a few days, and if not, until end of April.

My last recourse: expose the glans as long as I can, and see if that helps. From what I understand, Candida is anaerobic, so the microflora changes with an exposed glans will help get rid of any fungal infections. Since I literally have no other options for the moment, I plan to start tonight by going to beg with my foreskin peeled back, and exposing it thru the day as much as I can.

Questions:

1. My biggest fear here is to have my glans rubbing against clothing, and risking an even worse infection.
2. To be able to do this properly, I have to make sure my hands are always clean when handling my penis, how do you guys normally do it?
3. Has anyone else done this for this reason? I'm trying it because it looks like the final solution given to men with this problem is a circumcision. I am not against the idea, but if I can get the benefits without taking that drastic step, I rather try that first.

So that's it. I am really hoping this is the solution that will get me back to my normal self, when I was happy with a 100% fully functional penis that wasn't in pain. Any advice and comments are welcomed!
