Seeking Advice for Persistent Balanitis Issue
« on: 2023-05-05 07:30:34 »
I understand that this is a common topic, but I've read through all the relevant discussions and still need some help.

I've been dealing with a form of balanitis on my penis for nearly a year now. I've consulted three GPs, a dermatologist, and a urologist. They've all told me that it appears normal and isn't anything serious. However, after masturbation or sometimes without any apparent trigger, the head of my penis becomes slightly itchy and experiences a mild burning sensation.

I discovered this forum because of my balanitis issue, and I've been using a hair tie to pull back the head of my penis, which has helped to some extent. Despite this, after four months, the problem persists. I ensure to pull back the foreskin, thoroughly dry the area, and apply some Vaseline, but the issue remains unresolved.

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Canesten may help. No side effects, no prescription needed and it can help a lot.

I have had this here and there and found most of the problem to be a system imbalance, which is common with the standard american diet. Get yourself some good probiotics, the best usually need to be refrigerated, and try some Tinactin on the blantis that seems to help. Good luck.

Oh, yes, definitely.  One of the things that I noticed (it happens very rarely now) when I started keeping my foreskin pulled back, after the sensitivity went down enough to not be much of a bother, is that it would itch real bad once it dried out.
