News:

A forum for people interested in keeping the foreskin pulled back — be it for fun, for health reasons or anything else: Let's share experience, methods, stories and all that about our pulled back foreskins.

NB. This is not a circumcision support group. While there's no problem with cut guys, this isn't your place to live out your foreskin removal fetish — plenty of forums for that elsewhere.

Other than that: please read the Readme in the readme forum, write an intro... have fun I guess? :)

Just wondering how people feel about seeing covered glans. I was too embarrassed to change in front of others until I discovered being pulled back.

Well, I guess my vote of no cancels yours Brian.  Joking apart, I guess your poll reflects the prevalence of circumcision in your region of Canada.  Hence, a desire to fit in.  In the U.K. non religious circumcision is now rare and I believe 'each to their own' when it comes to preference.  It would be rare for me to be in a changing room situation nowadays but my preference would be to go retracted.

Since adopting a retracted habit I am not concerned if anyone sees me using a public urinal including on the odd occasion when I need to pull back to fully expose my glans, during cold weather for instance.  I do not mean I wave it about(!) but I contrast my present confidence to when I started my retraction journey, then I would sometimes chose a cubicle.  I guess age also brings about a 'what the heck' attitude.

Circumcision's is un-common here from what I've seen. I just think it doesn't look right to have the glans covered.

I also used to be uncomfortable with my foreskin covered glans, in a country where almost everyone used to be circumcised, and so I pulled back my foreskin...which I found erotic, partly because I assumed that everyone knew I was retracting my foreskin...

I am much more confident pulled back. I think my dick has more presence and looks bigger, so always stay pulled back in changing rooms.

I'm from Scotland and most guys are uncut and I've seen a variation of guys either pulling back (whilst going to and from and showering) and guys who don't pull back. I go pulled back in changing room situations as its what I prefer. I think its just more obvious/eye catching to others as your glans is on show which isn't common up here.

I'm also from Canada and I can say that there's lots of uncut people around. I think it really depends on the area and the age group, the younger the guy, the more likely they are to be uncut. I am 30 and in high school I remember most of my friends I saw in the locker room being uncut, but there was a mix.

Just a quibble, but I suspect that guys who ticked option 1 will also have ticked option 5 and those that ticked option 3 will also have ticked number 4.  So, in effect, only 5 guys so far are concerned about keeping their glans exposed against 21 that say it doesn't matter.

I think I should get out more rather than dwelling on statistics!!

the question was not very clear, I think, were i live, in Brazil, I've seen it the 3 ways, some people are more insecure, in general  because of their size, not the skin.

Really like to read this. The same here, most men are uncut. Having an exposed glans looks better and I think other men notice it earlier. I have a long way to go to stay retracted, I'm happy for you that you can stay pulled back.

I think that you must be from either Québec or the Atlantic region? The rate of adult circumcision in Canada is getting higher as many adults are having problems with their foreskin. This issue was virtually non-existent before the provincial health plans stopped covering RIC.

I had to tick "doesn't matter", but I actually think it does matter that everyone does what they want without worrying about what anyone else might think. I reckon it's very much a cultural thing, and that rare breeds (ie cut in Europe and uncut in The States) sadly but understandably sometimes feel that they need to conform to what they think everyone else wants to see, whereas the truth probably is that few would even notice and fewer still care.

Western Canada, grew up in northern BC.

I do think the issue can also be parents who do not teach their children proper care of their foreskin when they are young. It seems to be a bit of a taboo topic at times.

At the same time these days with the influence of US media and porn, the idea of being cut can become a popular one even when it may not be spoken about with people near you. Especially as these days fewer and fewer people will even change in an open change room and therefore do not realize what their friends may look like.
