Title: Being a grower is hard
Post by: uncut_sowhat on 2020-08-09 23:18:20
Hello I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone also faces the issue of being a grower. I usually use a ring between me foreskin and the head of my penis to keep the foreskin back but sometimes in my sleep or when i move too much when i have to flaccid penis the ring becomes too big and falls off. And not only that when i am flaccid with my foreskin back there is so much displaced skin on my shaft it easily will push the ring forward and its just a really hard time ti be able to stay retracted 24/7 and that is exactly what i would like to do. When i am semi-erect it will stay on very nicely but when i get very flaccid its just very hard to maintain a retracted foreskin. Anyone face the same issues and have found something to help?  :-\

Grower here!
During my pull-back journey I noticed I would get longer results when I pulled back right after having an erection or jerking off. I would keep the gland exposed while playing, then keep it pulled back until flaccid. I noted my foreskin would kind of fold on top of itself and that would help me a lot. From doing that, I felt my skin got used to that placement, and now I am able to keep it pulled back even when flaccid.
It took quite a long time and a lot of persistence though...

Good luck!

thanks that motivates me alot and i will definitely try that, which method if retraction did you use throughout your journey?

Grower here too! I've been using the spoon method part-time for years (actually using my fingers until I discovered this forum a couple of weeks ago). It works really well for me - it will stay retracted until I unfold it. I've developed "deep shaft wrinkles" in the shaft skin, and I've recently discovered that if I just pull back all the way and let go, a ring of inner foreskin bunches up behind the glans and a kind of pocket forms in the shaft skin which rolls forwards over itself and sits just behind the ring of inner skin. I've been encouraging that to happen. See this thread https://pulledback.org/index.php?topic=1488.0 (https://pulledback.org/index.php?topic=1488.0) with an image. It seems really stable. The fold moves over itself allowing for expansion and contraction, so the foreskin isn't pushed back over the head. It even stays in place when I go swimming - in anything but hot bath water I shrink to the size of a peanut  ;D ;D

So stick with it - even for us poor growers it is possible!

Yes, you may need to to have a go with other methods such as tucking or taping. Over time these may lead to changes in the skin that help it stay back more reliably.

There are also several threads that discuss various homemade glans rings and hair ties that you may find helpful.

The other feature that can occur for growers is that even though the inner skin can stay back fine, there can be some 'turtle neck' forming from the shaft skin - particularly when sitting.

Anyway, success may take some time so stick with it and good luck to you.

Hi,

I am a grower also. This is my story (regarding my foreskin): at first Ive tried to just leave pulled back. Then tried the spoon method. Then wrinkles formed so now if is pull back it stays (until I sit down/move much).

Grower here.

I am a grower but i had tight foreskin so much that it got swollen just from a simple pull back if i left it there for an hour.
I first used the spoon method and after a month I was finally able to get rid of the swelling.
Then I turned to rubber hair rings and applied sanitizers and alcohol based after shaves to the inner foreskin regularly to make it drier.

It helps a lot if you convince your skin that it doesn't need to produce so much body moisture.

The next thing that I realized that along with the tight foreskin I had a shorter frenulum too.
So it constantly pulled the skin forward.
Eventually with hard work I was able to cut through my fren with a lot of small steps without actually cutting into it.
Since then it puts no forward pull and I can freely be pulled back all the time even during sports, sex and sleep.

Same here...
I did use a lot of rings, and had the same problem that i did not stay in place.
But the ring i use now, did stay for a few days now, and doesn't fall off.

I do use the small ring of this set: https://m.nl.aliexpress.com/item/4001107873520.html?pid=808_0009_0101&spm=a2g0n.search-amp.list.4001107873520&aff_trace_key=&aff_platform=msite&m_page_id=7870amp-z_ct5Vk2xZt0c902KbOsIA1597892698369&browser_id=17feded506b54cb98d06307a88723a91&is_c=Y

I'm a grower too and I've been using a ring to retract permanently since January. I found that wearing the glans ring right next to the corona makes it hard to stay retracted. I found that wearing the ring at the corona at the top and letting the foreskin connected to the frenulum be on the same side as the glans on the ring helps a lot.

Sounds confusing, but basically have the foreskin bunch up behind the Corona and have the ring on both sides of the bunched up skin. Essentially trapping the foreskin in place

This is very similar to how I use a silicon ring. It's the only method that's worked for me, but I still have issues with the foreskin swelling to the point that it looks like a blister full of fluid. I've been tempted to use a needle to drain the fluid, but I can't help being afraid of infections.

I am a grower too. Personally I found that frenulum stretches and masturbate everyday like you are cut helps me a lot.

Grower here, but I don't have that same issue. I have some degree of phimosis, so I have absolutely no problem staying retracted despite being a grower. However, the tightness makes the skin bunch up a lot and eventually swell if I keep it that way for too long.

Yea ;) ;) personally I found the jerking motions really helps with the deep wrinkles formation
