Title: Tip´s for new retractors
Post by: supersonic on 2020-07-20 21:42:16
Hello everyone,
after receiving a message asking what kind of Hair-Tie I used to achieve my permanent retraction I wanted to show everyone my way of retracting at the start.

After struggling with the spoon method I tried full-time-retracting with a Hair-Tie behind my glans. It happened to be loose enough to not prevent blood-flow while still staying on during the day.

Using this method over about 1 year i achieved being retracted without using any tool. It still keeps the foreskin back while sitting down or bending forward at any times.
After about 1 year of using this method my foreskin stayed retracted at all times over the last 3 years.

Even while being a heavy grower this method works so this may be method for any new retractor or anyone who just wants to try something new.

So to show you the kind of Hair-Tie I was using, I attached a picture with and without my selfmade "glans-ring".

If you have any questions or ideas feel free to answer or DM me!

Cheers

That looks great and if it works for you then keep it up, the effect looks impressive

I'm currently using a foam ring (made from craft foam sheet) and its working a treat, hopefully it'll stay put

I actually tried using selfmade foam-rings in all different shapes and sizes aswell, but they never really worked for me.
They were either perfectly fitting my soft state but far too tight when getting hard,
or, when fitted to an erection, falling off in flaccid state.

Thats why these elastic hair-ties were by far my favourite method.

Now I'm actually happy to not need any sort of device to keep the foreskin back

Looks good. I will try the hair tie today. Looks very promising.

Looking at your picture a hair-tie might actually really be promising to you.
Just make sure to use the right size.
Even while being elastic, those things come in different sizes.
Rather get one a bit too large for the start and stop using it when any swelling, pain or tingling sensation appears.
This might be a hint that the hair-tie might be too small for you.

Anyways, good luck and post a picture of it!

Had a hair tie lying around. And it feels good. I also noticed that the glans flares out more using the hair tie. This hair tie seems a bit thick tho, so will try to find a thinner hair tie soon.

The size and placement look really good on you.
It may be a bit wide, but some people even prefer having wrikles farther down your shaft.

The slight compression might flare your glans out a bit more, creating a wider corona and deeper sulcus which will enhance your future attempts in retracting without any device.

Keep going and give us a feedback after a few day

Oh, thank you! I will post updates in a few days.

Thanks for sharing! It looks very good in both of you, I'm looking forward to trying this method, seems promising.

Does this mean your foreskin won't roll back forward after you pulled it back?
Does it still stay back even when pulled forward?
Do you have any idea what has happened to your foreskin that would allow this to happen?

Sorry if my questions are dumb, I'm still rather new to this practice and I don't really know how 24/7 retraction eventually works without any tools or methods...

No question is dumb, so feel free to ask, especially when you are new to the community!

Once retracted my foreskin stays behind the glans all the time and won't roll forward.
Even if i try to cover my head the foreskin eventually retracts, especially when moving so at the moment it's more difficult for me to keep it covered than to be retracted.
I assume it's most likely a combination of the skin being accomodated to be pulled back with some wrinkles at the shaft.
It's not like the foreskin itself lost in length ( if i stretch it out it is actually as long as it's always been),
but the biggest point is that the 'natural resting position' of the skin has become scrunched and wrinkled behind the glans.
This process will need some time to develop so the most important thing is to be consistent.

Keep at it if it's your thing and ask freely or give feedback, i appreciate it!

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm trying to loosen up my foreskin and frenulum such that my foreskin is able to auto retract when I'm hard. Currently it is covering half of the head without pulling it back and it is able to stay behind the edge of the head if pulled back.

Feels like this is the dream goal for people who want to have the cut look. I might give this method a try, thanks!

I tried your hair tie method but my foreskin just rolls over the hair tie. Any suggestions?

It could be that this setup won't work with my equipment but I would like to give it a try. It's great that it's not too tight when erect and stays put when flaccid.

It's always possible that - as you mentioned - some setups don't work with some equipments.
Maybe you need to do a little shopping and try to get various sizes and styles of hair-ties.
I think I also tried like 4 or 5 different Hair-ties before finding the right fitting one.
The best one's would be those pretty wide and soft one's you can see in my post.
The foreskin rolling over did actually never happen to me, rather would the tie be pushed off the glans if it was too loose or it would slightly restrict blood flow if it was too narrow leading to a puffy glans.

Later i will attach a picture of a little trick i used if i knew there would be very much movement over the day (working as a paramedic) which consists of locating the hair- tie not directly in the rim behind the glans but leaving about 3mm-5mm of inner skin bunched up - totally locking everything in its place over the whole day.

Consistence is key - so keep at it and i'm sure you will see good results soon!
