News:

A forum for people interested in keeping the foreskin pulled back — be it for fun, for health reasons or anything else: Let's share experience, methods, stories and all that about our pulled back foreskins.

NB. This is not a circumcision support group. While there's no problem with cut guys, this isn't your place to live out your foreskin removal fetish — plenty of forums for that elsewhere.

Other than that: please read the Readme in the readme forum, write an intro... have fun I guess? :)

General Discussion / What is going on?
Last post by CuriousSkinner - 2024-04-19 12:40:43
Hi All

I am looking for a bit of advice really that I suppose maybe isnt directly related to pulling back. I have been pulling back intermittently for years without any real problems. If anything I think it has helped to loosen up my foreskin.

But something has happened in the last fortnight, which I cant put my finger on. The head of my dick went quite red and sore which I was worried may be balanitis (something I have never had before). That has gone off now, but I still have an itching/burning sensation right around the end of my foreskin at the opening. It has improved from what it was, but it still isnt right.

Something I have noticed is that the end of my foreskin now has what I can probably describe as more of a phimotic ring. The skin is stlightly different in colour and feels almost smoother/shinier and is of course a little sore. I can still pull back, but it is tighter than it was before for sure.

Any ideas on what is going on or what I should do?

I am quite reluctant to put anything on my dick that might make things worse and I have stopped retracting for the time being in case its making things worse. But any advice welcome.

I accept I may have to go see a doctor, but I thought I would ask you guys first! Especially as I dont want the first thing the doctors to do is recommend cutting it off!

In my experience, mature women of many culture prefer to date men with "fully exposed" glans. But almost no woman know about retraction (except very few older Japanese women from deeply traditional culture). Almost all woman think full-circumcision is the only procedure to permanently bare a man's glans. When I started dating my pro-circumcision wife, she noticed that although I had fully exposed and desensitized glans, but my penis has no circumcision mark and I have a thin ring of sensitive skin behind my glans. She assumed my parents gave me some type of non-standard circumcision until I told her about my retracted status. She freaked out when I first told her about retraction (her reaction was "retraction must be some abnormal or homosexual fetish"). Over time she started to accept retraction as a normal healthy practice. Now she appreciates my choice. She admires that I have the option to cover my glans, but I have chosen to keep my glans fully bare at all time. Interestingly she once said that given a choice between circumcision and retraction by a potential date, most intact men will chose retraction and "cheat" (retract before sex and then pull his foreskin over)! That is why she still prefers circumcision.

I've always wanted my skin as far back and as tightly back as possible. When I first started retracting my foreskin bunched close to my corona. After 20 years of permanent retraction it stayed somewhat further back. My circumcision ensured the tightness that I sought. My scar is a little way back from my corona and permanently visible to anyone wanting to see it.

I answered Never because I wasn't able to pull back my foreskin until the age of 11. It was when I first succeeded in retracting it that I decided I wanted to keep it pulled back, which I did for 20 years and then I got circumcised.

Permanently retracted from age 11, until circumcised at age 31. My glans is now irreversibly exposed and I love it as much as I've ever done.

I was permanently retracted for 20 years from age 11, then I got circumcised at 31.

About 13. My glans had been permanently bare for a long time (since the age of 11) and during that time I had enjoyed numerous dry orgasms. I played with my cock a lot during that time but even more when it started to squirt.

Quote from: rubbercock on 2024-04-19 07:58:25The vast majority of Filipinos receive a dorsal slit around the age of 12. It's a rite of passage, known as Tuli and it causes the glans to remain exposed without actually removing any foreskin. It's recognisable by being tighter on the upper (dorsal) side and very loose on the underside. It's often performed by non-medical practitioners using a razor blade and a flat stick - such as a sucker or popsicle stick - for a small amount of money, though well off parents sometimes choose to have their sons circumcised in a hospital, where skin is removed.
Oh I have never heard of this before!

I answered option 4 because that's how I was as a permanent retractor before my circumcision. The change was a matter of weeks. My penis got used to being skinned back very quickly, probably because I started before the onset of puberty. Now, of course I'm a 5, the remaining skin stays well back from the glans and my circumcision scar is always visible.

I think there's another part-timer, maybe filipino descent.
