Research about autocircumcision

Hello everyone! Autocircumsion is an absorbing topic. However, it's hard to find reliable sources (e.g. medical articles, books, leaflets etc.), so you cannot use knowledge from community forums to create Wikipedia articles or wherever. With your kind help, I'll want to write the most trustworthy "autocircumsion" article.

"autocircumcision" is a misnomer, and I don't think any sensible medical paper would use that word. After all, it is not, in any way, a circumcision.  It would be great if it finally fell out of favour in the greater community too.

It is very likely that there is not much medical literature on the topic, since usually it's an unconscious folk tradition that people don't give any thoughts about.
