Hi there fellow retracters :)
I just wonder which side do you prefer to have your dick when you put on underwear ?
Of course you may have more than one preferred position like me, I usually leave it to the left or right while sitting and down/front while standing and walking, BUT I like to wear loose boxers so he moves around freely most of the time, also I am not able to keep it up for the same reason because I think tight underwear is not good for the balls! :)

Same here. If i stay home I take off underwear and put it back when i go out.. i dont see a reason to have it at home :) going comando while retracted is great :)

Funny this far in I'm the only one out of 7 that prefers my dick facing up though. It's funny to feel my prepuce touching my inner thighs left/right to my dick and I always feel the need to fix it immediately whenever it happens.

seldom wear underwear, too confining, warm, etc.  Usually nude in the house, also.   So, my penis, being an independent fixture, selects it's own hanging direction, usually down, covering the middle of the scrotum.

Usually always go left.  Sometimes I try face up but it will usually go back to the left on its own.   I have a curve to the left naturally so I think that has a lot to do with it

Mine is not big enough too go one way or the other ! (2.5" flacid , 5.8" hard). I have sometimes tried in tight underwear but within a short time it is back straight down.

I like to keep my cock facing up, wearing tight underwear helps. Also helps if I get a hard on with it facing up.

I like to keep mine down and to the left now. this makes a change from keeping it down over my balls when i used to wear underpants, when i went over to boxers, I used to hang it on the right.
Most of the time don't wear any Underwear but it is still on the left side. It is nice to have a change now and again.

More of less teh same here.. yeah,,,I get the idea... (I'm like 6-7 cm soft and 114-15cm hard)

With underwear and jeans (button fly or zip fly) it MUST be somewhere on the right side, otherwise I feel extremely uncomfortable. This is since decades and I don´t know why.
In sweatpants I don´t care, main issue the glans is naked.

Hmm, it´s an interesting therory that lefties are right handed.
Following this I should be left handed, which is not true.

I find that if I point it downward in my briefs, the skin stays back better and I get a good amount of friction on the head to slowly dry it out and desensitize it.

This is generally true.  Right handed guys dicks tend to go to the left.  Also the left testicle will be heavier and hang lower than the right.  For lefties, it's the other way round.  Take a look.  As with everything there will be a minority that are exceptions to this rule.

I'm a right-handed guy with a free will. So although I would hang to the left naturally I prefer to put it on the right side.  ;D

Don't generally wear underwear but, either way I keep right.  It makes more of a statement in my trousers. Lols.

By left and right, does it mean the penis is positioned down but hangs towards the left/right? Or does it literally mean left/right at 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock. I don't see how the penis can remain left/right except in really, really, tight briefs.

I've never had to choose because my dick is short enough when soft that it doesn't hang down into my pants at all. I didn't even understand what guys were talking about when they mentioned this when I was in school, haha. Mine sticks straight out/forward, propped up by my balls.

Have not worn underwear at home for decades. Dick down usually and to the left. Started dick up when wearing sports briefs and jock straps a few years ago to decrease sweating between dick and balls. Since I've been retracted, dick up doesn't seem to be an option any more since it increases chances of foreskin going over glans- or at least it feels like it will.

I've actually started to position my dick to the side during this recent run of retracting 24/7 as it's been helpful in keeping it back longer. Also makes it easier to pull back again if it rolls forward instead of having to reach all the way down the middle lane

Always down. I tried it facing upwards but it just doesnt work for me. When i bend down or sit the tip always gets in the way. And thanks to gravity it falls down.

I put my penis upwards in briefs and speedos and hanging down freely in boxer shorts.

Nice... It takes a real confident man to point up in speedos.

It is more comfortable that way - the penis doesn't press the balls, they are not squeezed and that allows for better leg movement.

Nowadays, since I'm wearing more boxer briefs, I find it difficult to keep my penis in the up position. When the penis comes down, there's also a tendency for the foreskin to slip forward.

As Knight said, when swimming it's more comfortable to point up. Sometimes when I do the breaststroke kick, I feel my balls retreating into my abdomen ! (Sorry, too much info?!) So I tried pointing up in my swim tights/jammers, but when I did the turn, my penis flipped to the down position. I guess pointing up only works for me when I wear a speedo under my jammer, but it's not comfortable to wear two suits.

Over to the right mostly, it'll sometimes get stuck in the middle and feel all squished. I hate underwear more and more, love the feeling of being free!

Most of the times I dress left, sometimes right. When I wear a ballstretcher, I am much more conscious about penis and balls placement. Often balls right, penis left.

My testicles sometimes retract into my body when I swim, too (nude or with speedo), especially if the water is a bit cold. They drop back into my sack after I get out of the water or hit the warm shower.  :D
