Ive tried many pullback methods before and given up after about a week. But all these failed attempts were prior to getting rid of the frenulum completely. I thought i would give the old sock method a go. Its been the best method for me so far. no discomfort at all during the keratinsation phase so far. Im two weeks in and really loving the feeling. That actually looks more like swelling to me tbh, especially since you said you're only a few days in. Mine looks similar to that early on after several hours being retracted and I would have to undo my retraction to let it rest, not anymore nowadays though. Using my own penis, I'd think these are what visible veins would look like, though in my case it's probably more my inner foreskin "thinning out" from years of masturbation and intermittent retraction.

Here is my glans after a little more than a month pulled back 24/7. In the photos I have a basic spoon method. I started off using coin method / tape and got good results with the inner foreskin. Now that my glans and inner foreskin are a complete different texture, I've been using a silicone glans ring during the day, and a stretchy "sock" method while sleeping.
Happy with the keratinization process thus far, my glans is bone dry at this point. Considerably less sensitive, and has the texture almost like construction paper. It is a lot tougher, and I can touch it freely with no issue. It has also changed color while flaccid which is interesting.
Hoping to achieve deep wrinkles (and possibly a more flared head) in the long term to stay back w/ no tools or manipulation
