A forum for people interested in keeping the foreskin pulled back — be it for fun, for health reasons or anything else: Let's share experience, methods, stories and all that about our pulled back foreskins.

NB. This is not a circumcision support group. While there's no problem with cut guys, this isn't your place to live out your foreskin removal fetish — plenty of forums for that elsewhere.

Other than that: please read the Readme in the readme forum, write an intro... have fun I guess? :)

phimosis and internal damage, any ideas what the red dot is?

I currently have borderline pinhole phimosis and have been stretching with some success. Today I discovered something that's freaked me out underneath my foreskin. If were to follow the exterior line of the frenelum it's about half way down to one side. The skin around it is damaged and slightly rough to touch with the red dot almost like a scab. I was initially diagnosed with BXO, the specialist changed this after I told him I tested positive for trush (no questions were asked about it's origin which I believe was coconut oil). I'm booked in for a circumcision which I can cancel, it's finally motivated me to have a regular stretching routine. Discovering this has thrown a real curve ball. The damage has come from repeated trauma and neglect. The glisten in the last photo is from cortisone cream

Anyone have an idea on what's going on?

Hard to tell... some people get those blood blisters, like little 1 mm red spots, on their skin for no reason whatsoever, I could absolutely imagine something similar.  But it's hard to tell from the images what it really is.

As for the stretching, how is that going so far, and what do you use?  Have you considered Phimocure or something similar?

Stretching routine is in a bath. I've tried unsuccessfully doing flaccid or using coconut oil/lubricant with nil results. Unfortunately I'm a grower and found the rings either don't really stay in place on the area that requires stretching (they'd kind of work if I achieved an erection but holding that in place wasn't possible). I've found I need to be semi/fully erect, pinch the head and start massaging. Visually it appears to be a couple mm gained since I've started. There is a pretty significant area of scar tissue in the 3-6 o'clock area of the foreskin. After having a bath I'll apply cortisone cream (won't be for long-term use)

Hard to say what it is from pictures alone. If I were to guess I would just say you could have hit it with something or the skin was just lightly torn apart, specially as you said it feels like a scab.

A few questions I have for you:
1) (And most important): Do you notice ANY discharges from it? Keep an eye out for this is a good indicator for bacterial action going on. You could maybe try making a small cotton ball (or a small piece of paper) and putting it there and then paying attention if anything (other than blood-looking) came out. If it's blood like, try and keep tabs on how long you saw it from the time you put the tissue in, this is to discard brown discharges from dried blood, blood takes a few hours to dry up and become brown on bandages.

2) Are you having fevers or (you know how your body just gets wonky when you're about to have one / got one going on)? Watch out for fever like feelings over the next 3 days really, again, a sign of bacterial/viral action.

3) Do you notice any unusual smells from it?

4) Does it hurt? If so, when and what type of pain is it?

I think it was on your welcome post that I commented that non-congenital phimosis is just cut off usually, but for all that's good, I would spend at least 6 months on stretching stuff. Again, if that's just torn skin or something your nail caused, you got nothing to worry about. I've had wounds with necrosis, you know, skin going purple then black and feeling weird to the touch (on top of pus coming out), and your body will just take care of it on its own (but this can be a breeding ground for bacteria which can lead to a handful of SERIOUS problems), so yeah, don't stress yourself too much about it over these first few days.
From wounds showing up to things getting bad and requiring medical attention, people usually get a week unless its actively bleeding. So yeah, just give it ~3 days and keep an eye out for any progress it makes, if after 3 days it still looks the same (and mind you, if you keep poking at it (make sure to sanitize things lightly though as you don't want bacteria), it might delay the healing process).

Now with all of that said, there IS a "white" looking type of necrosis when the skin kinda just doesn't have blood (on extremities, and by all accounts, your penis is one, but unless you got underlying issues, there's a LOT of blood flow there) or specific types of fungi (think athletes foot), but you should have many symptoms (and also a lack of feeling in the area or severe itching, again depends on cause).

Don't worry about it for now, do keep an eye on it though, as for the circumcision side of things, again, I'd give it at least 6 months of stretching attempts (with devices). And I circumcised myself last week, so this says a lot. It's not that it's bad, it's that unless you want it, you might not have a reason to (again, I never read about stretching working out for non-congenital phimosis (aka scar tissue), but again, there's many scalpel happy doctors out there so I am legit interested in this).
Feel free to mail me anything, it might take up to a week for me to actually see and reply to it though, but I always check Discord.

Hey bro,

I dont think anything of major concern is going on. I would consider using some salve (bacitracin, neomycin, etc) if you have any concern of infection. Stretching will take you some time, but you will find the process is actually eventually kinda pleasureable as long as you have patience. I would immediately cancel the circ. I see no reason for that. You would also lose a lot of sensitivity, and  that would suck. I think manual stretching when flaccid is good. Hold it back some even if you begin to get hard, but dont put yourself in any major pain. Just hold it and let your erection stretch it for like 10 or 15 minutes and release. Have patience bro. You WILL get retractability eventually.
