Three weeks progress, have now removed the foam retainer ring and the foreskin is staying back on its own. The base of the head seems more flared now and a darker colour, the foreskin does not feel so tight now and takes a bit of effort to pull it back over the glans.

Great job on getting it to stay back on its own. The head does looks rather dry and patchy... Was it always having this uneven coloring?

Keep it up. From what I've seen from other guys with balanitis, it only gets better as it gets dryer.

No the glans was not patchy before I started pulling back, it is quite dry now.
