A forum for people interested in keeping the foreskin pulled back — be it for fun, for health reasons or anything else: Let's share experience, methods, stories and all that about our pulled back foreskins.

NB. This is not a circumcision support group. While there's no problem with cut guys, this isn't your place to live out your foreskin removal fetish — plenty of forums for that elsewhere.

Other than that: please read the Readme in the readme forum, write an intro... have fun I guess? :)

I'd not use anything steroidal, at least until you've seen the dermo. You don't want to risk empowering anything underlying really, and it sounds like it's not currently in any kind of state where it's weapinng anything or open and 'needs' the extra help healing. Even if it's just irritation, I wouldn't throw steroids at it. Forgive me for saying but learn the lesson and move on as much as you can from that experience - just be patient and give it time, keep it clean and moist (though not too moist, don't want to encourage anything fungal) and let it breathe. Anything irriating, you'll naturally subconsciously scratch or rub it - resist this temptation and wait it out as much as you can.

First time sexual experience with a guy? Or maybe first time outside of adolescent experimentation? Or just first time with a stranger? (I get that this is a first time experience somwhere, just with how this was written)

Yes, STI test was the first thing I did. They tested for the usual: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphillis, HIV, etc.

I ended up putting some Terrasil Balanitis cream today. It started stinging on the left side of the glans, but visually there's almost invisible rash, so I caved in and put this on. This cream is supposed to be 100% natural ingredients, so I think I "should" be ok to try it without making myself worse. So far it calmed down the stinging. Not sure how useful putting up new pics will be, the weird part is that visually it's maybe about 1/2 of what the original pics show.

I am going under the assumption that I have really irritated my glans, and all of this now is just contact dermatitis. I'm scared of using any steroid creams, but I might try the betamethasone for a couple of days and see what happens. I really made a huge mistake to postpone that appointment for dermatologist, so now I am stuck for May 22nd.

The problem is this area is so sensitive, I might be 100% fine, but just irritated, and it feels like there's something wrong. Or there's a mild infection there, which is possible. I had 3 days where I had literally zero pain, and only the faintest redness........then I went to mess myself up with Silver gel (I did it because I read someone online used it to treat themselves successfully). It was probably a bad idea to put that on. I am on the 7th day after that, and the stinging is only down maybe by half (3/4 with the Terrasil).

If it's just irritation, I might benefit from a couple of days of a steroid cream. If it's zoon's or some other bacterial infection, I guess I will get some antibiotics (assuming the derm agrees for me to try them). Visually it's better than it has been in months. Pain wise it was better until I aggravated it again.

I think he mentioned getting STI checked and came out clean

This is not pull back related but I would like to share this experience as I am still very turned on.
Today I went for a swim in the public swimming pool. After I finished exercise, Like usual, I stripped off my swim trunk in the change room and walked to the shower, I have been enjoying people looking at my gland since I started pulling back.
Then, there's this guy who came over and said he took a peak at my dick and really liked the look of it. He asked if it's ok for him to touch it.
I actually felt very turned on so I took him to one of the shower cabin so he could check on my thing more closely and touched it however he wanted. He then jerked me off twice and I had to leave for work. It was such an experience

Thanks guys.

It's been approx 1 week since the silver gel thing. Every day gets a little bit better, but going slowly. I guess the silver really irritated it. The only thing I put on it was the Terrasil Balanitis cream. I only did it once, and it definitely reduced the irritation, maybe by half. I have not put anything else until then.

Since my derm appointment is now on May 22nd, I'm just not going to put anything on it, or pull back, or do anything at all, unless it gets worse, but it's slowly getting better. I'm so stupid to put on anything when I was making good progress, but it is what it is.

If it's Zoon's, I guess I will mention it to to the derm. I also have been taking Terbinafine tablets, one a day for the past 8 days. No difference to the balanitis, none with the jock itch either (I am using Clotrimazole 2% on the jock itch, to hit it from both sides (nothing on the glans).

Yeah I know that you are absolutely right. Its a weird one isnt it, its looking much better today than it was for sure. But its still a bit tingly so I am in two minds as to whether to wait another couple of days, or if I should bite the bullet and go in and let them have a look.

Really glad you are on the mend. Was yours sore as well then?

Quote from: stephen.reilly79 on 2024-04-21 21:50:08There's another topic open at the moment with a very similar dicussion and conclusion. Long and short is: don't treat it unless you know what it is, and if you don't know what it is then see a doctor. It's embarrassing as hell, yes, but it's a mere 10 minutes of embarrassment to get the information you need to treat this thing correctly. Getting it wrong will only prolong your suffering or make things worse.

I'm recovering from an infection myself. Based on pictures I found online I thought it was lichen sclerosus (a chronic autoimmune disease with no cure as such — not something you want to get), but the doctor spent all of 10 seconds looking at it and correctly diagnosed a yeast infection. It's responded well to Canesten and I believe I'm on the home stretch for recovery now.

Masturbating glans primarily decreased sensitivity overall for me over time.
