Would you rather just have been circumcised, rather than having to pull back? (Why or why not in the comments!)

Definitely happier to be intact I'd be upset if I had been cut without any choice. As a part timer its good to have options to pull back as and when I choose to. I would hate to not have it there! I think I just I love foreskin tbh

In my much younger phase had the "do it yourself" kits been readily available then (long before internet!) I might have obtained one. Today as I look back, certainly glad not readily available then. Besides, I am one not to proceed forward where you cannot back out!

Once I started pulling back, it was simply a matter of time before I got circumcised. But I am pleased that I had the option to choose to do so, as I have been able to fully appreciate the improvement of a bared glans over a covered one, either pulled back or circumcised.

As one who has been almost permanently back for over 30 years now, I could never imagine wanting to be circumcised.  I love the variety of both look and feel I have from being able to wear my foreskin whatever way I like and the additional play possibilities I have from being intact.

Having been pulled back for some time now, I am most certainly glad that I was given the opportunity to experience my foreskin and be able to know the difference that I otherwise would not have gotten if I had been cut as an infant. I like my foreskin and I like pulling back on a part-time basis.
For me, pulling back is not about looking cut, or pretending to be cut, or wishing I was cut. It is about the feeling I get from pulling back my skin. I don't consider it a halfway step towards being cut or a lesser state of existence. Nor do I consider it a chore or an effort to pull back. I enjoy doing it whenever I feel like it.

I do kinda wish I was circumcised as a kid, though that's mainly because of how much foreskin I naturally have.

In the community I grew up in, virtually all other boys besides me was circumcised.  I was deeply insecure about this difference, and from a very young age, I tried very hard and without success to keep my foreskin permanently rolled back to make my penis look "normal", and because I assumed that was what all the other boys were doing.

As I grew older I believe this experience led to my powerful adult sexual interest/fetish in circumcision and circumcised penises (which isn't great for someone who is otherwise straight).  Perhaps I could have developed more "normal" sexual interests had I grown up circumcised like the other boys?

There's times I do wish I was circumcised, when I pull back I use the spoon method as I'd want to get a low and loose cut if I were to ever make the leap however I'm not at that stage where I'm ready to go all the way. For now I am happy having the best of both worlds.

When I was younger, I definitely wished that I was. Mostly just to fit in and feel comfortable because most others were circumcised around me. Not that it would have made me flaunt myself around or anything, but I always had a fear of someone getting a look of my junk.

Now that I'm older, I'm glad that I am intact and can have the best of both worlds whenever I want. To stay back all the time when I was younger would have been uncomfortable with the sensation. Plus I would have been hard all of the time because being pulled back made it that way at that time in my life.

Growing up most other guys around me were circumcised. And I noticed they were very comfortable around each other generally. Inevitably you see other guys whether getting changed in the locker room or at water parks or camping trips etc. growing up I always felt out of place so I made sure to try to pull it back when I was getting changed. Was just a thing of wanting to fit in at the time. Been keeping mine back for multiple years now and definitely more confident. This point definitely would not want to get circumcised but definitely will keep it back.

I also grew up in a community where everyone else I ever got changed around was circumcised and getting changed around other people was a major source of insecurity. Pretty much all of the guys I knew were very comfortable just getting changed in front of each other. So to fit in I had to start pulling it back.

I certainly had wished to have been circumcised until earlier this year. Being just pulled back meant that I always had to pay attention to the position of my foreskin unless I used means like to tape to secure it into place.

There are some strong opinions around this but I'm glad I was left intact. I believe doing it to children is unfair since they lose ability to make their own choice. I think having everything develop on its own is better, such as letting the foreskin separate from the glans during puberty.

Also, I see autocircumcision as a bit of challenge. Rather than just get surgery, we have to go through the effort to make the change. Also, it stays our decision and we can go back and forth (covered and uncovered) as we see fit. The look of having the foreskin behind the head in my opinion is the best look too.

I believe it is the best of both worlds. I can speak from having been uncircumcised and then circumcised later, no medical indication for it. I would have like to have kept my foreskin. I lost much more than I gained.

I narrowly escaped  circumcision when I was set up with an appointment to be circumcised by a gp due to a frenum breve. The  surgeon he referred me to was great.  Met him at his office and he suggested  to simply remove the frenum. I agreed  and he did that as an in office  procedure.  I was scared stiff of the circumcision.   The healing went well and the problem was solved without the removal of a good sized chunk of skin.

The medical professionals seem to turn to circumcision automatically for any issues  associated  with the foreskin. Canadian experience  here i was only one of 3 other fellows  uncircumcised  in the locker room and showers  at school (its a bit daunting). Developing sexually i found sex somewhat painful but good at the same time.  So i took it to the doctor. 

I really  wish that I'd had a forum like this in my teens. It would have helped  out incredibly.  The fellows here great  interesting and open with their opinions and the information on  how to evaluate  your conditions, what to  expect and how to do the various  techniques  is wonderful.  I would have to tried tying my frenum. Not sure really, if i had i wouldn't be on this site, if i had been cut not sure it would have bothered me.

Being circumcised would have made my early life much easier. Growing up in the US as an uncircumcised male was tough.  It made me never want to change or be naked in front of anyone else for fear they'd know I was not cut. 

When I was younger yes, but knowing what I know now I am very glad my mother had the wisdom to not let the doctor cut me. She told me shortly before her death that she did not feel good about letting them circumcise me, and I thanked her for that.
If I would of been circumcised I know for sure that me penis would not be working anymore. I had went about 25 years retracted from my early twenties until just before I turned fifty. By then the dam thing was only good for being a hose to pee from. Now twenty years later after I covered up for twenty years, it works it feels good but still takes an awful long time to come. I do uncover part-time now, and it feels good and seeing I cover up at night so the loss of sensation is tolerable.

My foreskin is part of so much pleasure for me. Being able to pull back and remain retracted adds a different level of pleasure that I guess could feel like I had been cut, but being able to still cover up and glide the foreskin up and down feels so good.

Not a chance in fucking hell. My dad carried shame for not making sure I was cut for years.

Reality is my life would have been so much different probably if I was cut. Look my penis took on an amazing transformation from when I was kid to today.

What does it for me is the control I have. I can choose what's happening. I can choose to be rolled back. I can choose to roll forward on occasion.

I couldn't imagine just being cut.

I love being intact. Based off of my conversations at nudist clubs, so-called "circumcision" (i.e., the modern procedure of that name being different from the ancient Hebrew and Muslim ritual) is a source of consistent insecurity from men. The beginning and end of the debate over RIC is personal agency. Everything else is fluff. As for being usually the only physically whole man in a locker room or beach, I love it, and always have; I am a reminder of what a natural body looks like.

I do feel like I can have the best of both worlds but neither would I be pissed if it had been done. I think being able to cover it helps keep the sensitivity I like while leaving it uncovered allows the pleasure of being able to dry rub the whole shaft and glans. From teen circle jerks I participated in I got the impression that cut guys had about as much feeling while doing that as rubbing a finger. The only advantage I can see them having is being able to fuck longer which probably pleases their ladies. Also the feeling of the glans rubbing her vaginal walls may pleasure some girls. So there are advantages to both intact and cut. If I had a woman who wanted to send me to heaven making love to my circ'd penis I would surely have it done but for my own masturbatory pleasure I would not. I have no frenulum so I can enjoy pulling it all the way back tight and stretching the inner foreskin for added pleasure.

I always found look of circumcised penis much neater than my intact.  the bare head so 'there' ready to be rubbed by jeans when commando as I walk or easy reach and all so tight when hard.
In my horny 20s thought about getting cut IF my girlfriend had agreed but always worry that a friend, maybe theatre nurse, would find out and tell her friends.  Having 'trained'  my foreskin to stay retracted (see my surgical spirit post) I have best of both worlds: looks and feels great without need to circumcision ... too old now anyway.

It's very rare to see a natural body considering that even manicure, grooming, make-up or dyeing your hair isn't "natural", not even talking about implants, tattoos, piercings and so on. Also, I'm sure many cut men will feel physically whole, I know I do. Just some food for thought.

On a physical level I had several teeth that were extracted before getting circumcised. So even before the time I got cut I wasn't "whole" anymore if we apply the same logic here, and I don't see any reason for not doing so.

Yes, definitely!! Growing up, the norm was definitely circumcised. I wasn't the only uncut guy but it was much more "normal" to be circumcised. I was always embarrassed of it in change rooms and open showers and felt sort of weird. I think it would have been easier saying to have been snipped and be like 80% of the others.

That being said, this is a North American perspective. If I liked in the UK or Europe where intact (uncut) is the norm, I don't think is even think about it and would be totally happy being like the other guys wearing their foreskins forward.

Going to the gym is easily one of my favorite activities in life and I always shower after so I'm naked in public a lot. I may eventually get snipped one day but I'm going to do autocorrect for a full year and see what the results are before even considering it. I'm really liking it 3 days in.

Honestly, it's the first thing I turn off on a phone :D  I found that I get more reliable text from tapping the suggestion instead of the space bar when it's correct, rather than relying on it being placed automatically and having to correct every other word. Yes, because that never really worked with the foreskin retracted. It has always covered the glans. I tried it with rubber rings, the foreskin swelled after a few hours. I have also tried adhesive tape. The now well-known spoon trick I did not know in the seventies / eighties for lack of Internet. I have been circumcised since 1982 and am happy with it.

I found the method on my own as well pre-internet days. The method didn't work well for me despite trying for about a year on and off. It would always unroll itself due to my penis frequently changing size and if it shrunk too much the excess bulging rolled up foreskin would start to go over the edge my glans.

I got circumcised after having pulling back full-time for 3 years. I love being cut!

Had this choice been made for me, I'd likely be driven mad by wondering what I missed. I would rather make the choice for myself as a consenting adult.

I am very open to the Idea and may get circumcised but very glad I was not cut as a baby.

I think it is wrong to circumcise kids for no medical reason. You need to wait to be an adult, so you have a say in it and it will be your choice.
I am happy with my foreskin - pulled back. I am not giving it up.

I would have been furious if I'd been circumcised as a kid -partly because I would have felt very conspicuously different in the largely uncut UK, but also because I'd have always wondered what I was missing out on. Although I think it's a perfectly valid choice if an adult choses it for himself and understands all the implications, I don't think it is an inherantly better state in any way, so I'm really delighted to have the option to go covered, or to enjoy being bare headed depending on how I feel.

I don't want to sound too sappy here, but for most of my teen/adult life I had been wanting to get circumcised. Until I found this community. I had always thought pulling back one's foreskin was "shameful" and that if you wanted to have your head fully exposed you simply needed to get surgery.

However, after seeing how many of you guys have had positive experiences with keeping your skin pulled back it gave me hope that looking like I was circumcised without getting cut was possible. Now I'm considering tying my frenulum - which would give me the best solution. Fully intact, with all of the sensitivity and protection the foreskin provides along with the ability to rock a cut cock!

To be perfectly honest - I would not. I do enjoy being pulled back, but I also like a lot of "features" directly linked to having a foreskin. Masturbation, sex itself - I imagine are very different while being cut and I rather like the mobility of the skin during those acts. As for the look - it all depends, if you're shrunk after the walk in the chilly weather you're not gonna present you're best either way ;) And if you're you flaccid member is relaxed, in its fullest - it's also gonna look fine with or without the foreskin.

Unfortunately for me it is just the other way around. A lot of skin covering part of my head when soft, yet almost nothing to play with when hard.
I guess if I were circumcised it would be one of those severely crippled penises with no movable skin at all.

Although I was thinking about it many times I always ended with the decision to not do it because as I have fully stretchable skin I can be both as cut by taping it tight or use other methods..and also I'm able to still cover it fully If I decide.

Also having full skin I can have sex or jerk in different variations or styles which gives different feelings. If I was cut it will always be the same everytime.

So I stick to pulling back, taping and all the other methods;)

No, even with some infections here and there, the foreskin gave me years of pleasure during masturbation. There are times i'd cover my glans like being at beach nude to protect from sun exposure and naked hiking to protect from insects and scrapes. Generally we have an extra protection to use- our foreskin.

Yes, it's the ultimate goal for me. I've wanted it for some time now. But I think it will be interesting to make a couple of steps to get there. First I want to keep the foreskin retracted permanently for some time (which I've now been doing for more than 2 months). Next I want to tie my frenulum. Finally I plan to get circumcised. I want to enjoy the journey and changes each step brings.

No, I really like my foreskin, and I like to have it pulled back. If it was even longer and I couldn't keep the glans out, I still wouldn't want to be circumcised. It's genital mutilation. I prefer the best of both worlds: I have a relatively dry and smooth glans, no bad smells, no exagerated sensitivity, but a foreskin with nerve endings to stimulate and give me pleasure, something that circumcised men loose. I "like" circumcisions only when they leave the frenulum (one of the most sensitive/pleasurable areas) and a little bit of skin resting on the glans when soft, so that it allows this guys to play with a little bit of foreskin. I'm against circumcisions on all occasions except for medical reasons, and as an adult free and conscious choice.
