I've just been watching an episode of Embarrasing Bodies I recorded a couple of weeks ago. The guy has a cyst in his scrotum. His foreskin covers the head when Dr Christian examines him and he is then referred to a specialist. With the specialist he is clearly pulled back from the moment he drops he trousers. There is a clear close-up view of his cock whilst he's being examined. The glans has the dry quality gained from prolonged exposure so I'm guessing he likes to keep it back regularly. On his return to Dr Christian the head is once again covered. Maybe he was a bit shy with openly gay Dr C?

On another forum that I belong to (for naturists) a few guys have said they stay retracted most of the time but cover over for the doctor. I guess it's just an embarrassment thing. I suspect with this guy it has just slipped forward or back during the filming. I'm not sure I'd have the nerve to say "can you stop filming a moment please while I adjust my foreskin" 😀

There's another episode about a penis buried under excess belly fat. The thing I found relevant (and shocking) was that during the operation to remove the belly fat, the surgeon just casually sewed 2 suture points thru the patient's glans (that which we protected all our lives with with our foreskin!) My goodness, if I had 2 puncture holes in my glans I would rush to the ER! But anyway, in the follow up visit, the patient's glans looked perfectly healed and normal. Which means, the glans can take some serious punishment and still heal, which is good to know!

I had trouble viewing the videos as well, and I'm in the US. Anyway, since I can't see it, can you explain WHY they put sutures through the glans?? I can't imagine why that would be necessary, or even useful, in a belly fat reduction surgery!

It was Naked Attraction. In episode 3, one guy (orange) started with his foreskin pulled back, but it had gone forward by the end, while another guy (green) started covered, and had it pulled back by part-way through.

I will try to explain it because I didn't watch the whole clip.
When the doctor started to cut thru the fat he pulled the penis and the testicles couple times to see where the base of the penis is inside the fat and also the identify the the blood vessels, cords and nervs that control the sensation of the genitals. Then he put a string thru the glans so the nurse can keep pulling the penis so he do not cut any of them. That is kostly all about it.. Hope you understand me ;)

Mine used to be a bit dry when i first started, so i used a bit of moisturising cream, and that help and it smelt nice to. worth a thought.

The show was very late in the evening, so I recorded it on hard disc. They showed quite much of the genitals, but not long. When watching I sometimes used the "picture freeze" button ;) The guys who pulled back had more or less a "turtleneck" behind the glans.
Interesting to hear that. I have never seen any Germans with foreskin pulled back in a sauna or changing room, or even retracting to pee at a urinal. With those on the TV program and the guys you know, do you think it is becoming more common in Germany? Maybe it is something that younger guys are doing? Or are women keen to encourage a cleaner and tougher glans perhaps?

Pull back is by no means exotic in Germany. I tried to find polls done by a magazine or so, but I failed. My estimation is at least 20 percent of men (non muslim, age 18-40) do pull back in nudiste area, locker room etc. I do not believe they retract 24/7 but most of them just in public. I have found a poll regarding men doing partly or full shaving of genitals (same age range) is 45 percent and I think this number might be true. As well the number of circumcization is increasing since years, but this is not the topic here. In addition I phoned a friend in Vienna who got similar impressions for Austria.
I found one comment in a forum saying the reason might be muslim influence, german men see more bare glans (of muslims) and want to appear similar. No clue, but the increasing trend to pull back the foreskin is a fact.
