Hey guys- I've been using the taped back method with success, but want something less finicky & streamlined. These silicon rings seem like just what I need-- anyone else use them? Or know where I can get them? Cheers.

That guy made his own using some sheets of silicone rubber and a craft knife.
Now there's an idea. Found sheets of silicon on ebay, ordered one 1mm thick and one 2mm thick.
Will have a go at diy glans ring contruction when they arrive.

My silicon sheets arrived today so I've been experimenting.
First thing to say is I think I ordered the wrong thing, the silicon I have is the type they make bake-ware our so it's a little stiff. I think I should have ordered silicon gel.
Never mind, we'll continue.
I made a fairly quick first attempt at a glans ring using the 2mm sheet, guessing sized and using a pour pair of scissors, but I was already very impressed with the results.
It's comfortable and works really well, my only concern is if I get a hardon it's going to strangle my glans as there's no give in it.
Nice!! Yeah, I think the semi-transparent stuff is more like what you want. But maybe if the ring is narrow enough, it'll have enough give not to squeeze too badly.
Well, the 1mm silicon is much better, a lot softer although I still don't think there's enough give for a hardon.
I've experimented with different sizes, I have a shot glass which suits the outside and a £2 coin is best for inside.
I'll keep it on all night and tomorrow to see how it fares, but I'm sure showering with it on would be no problem at all, even swimming.
I've made a slightly larger ring which is the last photo, but I like the way my skin covers the smaller version so you wouldn't even know it was there.
And just to let you know, it passes the hardon test without any problems, so would be fine to wear all night.

I agree that the small one looks amazing - looks like your skin is just staying back on its own.
And since it's silicone, it's not likely to pick up smells or grow nasty buggers, and will be really easy to clean.

Strange, supposedly the chinese rings are of silicone too but they definitely pick up smells :|
Ohhh I doubt they are, lol. Silicone tends to be expensive. TPR or TPE (thermoplastic rubber/elastomer) is a much cheaper alternative. Many sex toys are now made with them. It's great in some ways but not in others. Definitely not as strong or aseptic as real silicone.
OK, I'm officially a convert.
Used to be a taper, much prefer this. My problem with taping is it didn't last and I ended up with a stick residue a lot of the time, left on the skin.
This is easy to put on, it more comfortable, I've now been wearing it for 36 hours with no problems, showered, slept, all good.
And because I made the rings myself I've been able to cut and customise to my own requirements.

I did cut the centre hole a little larger, I also shaped the hole to better accommodate my urethra. It's an ongoing work.
My ring arrived from China (alibaba), & first impressions have not been good when it comes to comfort, & also just staying on. I have a long foreskin & tapered glans so that doesn't help, but it just wasn't comfortable & didn't stay on properly while driving. The tape method is still a winner for me, but i definitely think there's potential if i can get the right fit.

Two week update:
I think that's the longest I've ever managed a permanent pullback. I'm on holiday at the moment still wearing my ring when in and out of the pool.
I also think I'm the closest I've ever been to feeling cut, even the area below the corona is desensitised, I guess due to the friction of the rings, which I've never achieved before.
I'm still using the 1mm ring at night and the 2mm ring during the day, the 2mm is much better at keeping the skin back but the 1mm stretches to accommodate night time erections.

Another advantage of this method is, with taping back I had difficulty in draining all urine and often a bit would leak out afterwards. I don't have that at all with the ring.

This can probably be avoided by adjusting the tension of your retraction with the tape method. And it can happen with rings too, depending on how tight they are. It's all about finding the right fit.
Hey adonis, I just got some silicone mat too and had some questions. Have you had problems with the inner edges of the ring digging into your skin? If so, how did you round them off? Silicone is so hard to work with...
[edit] Well I've been wearing it for several hours and it's not bad. I had a go at rounding off the inner edges of the ring using a razor blade, and although it's pretty crude, it's also been fairly effective. Only a little discomfort here and there.
Here's how it looks soft and hard. I can't really feel it squeezing when hard so I think I've hit the right size/thickness.
I've not had any problems with the inner ring digging in, my only discomfort is when my skin covers the ring and then gets trapped between the ring and my underwear.
Worn my ring for more than a month now.

I've got about 2-3mm play in mine when I'm flaccid, so maybe that's why yours is cutting in?
Oh, it's not cutting in, it's that the loose skin gets pinched between the ring and my clothes. If the ring is that lose it pops right off my cock haha.
Well it's now been >2 months that I've been wearing my glans ring, found a size which suits which is a balance between not slipping off and wide enough that my skin can't roll over it.
I've worn it pretty much permanently, the only time I took it off was nude sunbathing on holiday when I used the spoon method.
I'm delighted with the desensitising effect, although it doesn't seem to be getting any less sensitive now.
I can see that my foreskin is starting to stay back on its own, but it's not fully trained yet. My aim is to keep going for a year.

It's now been 4 months since I started wearing glans ring permanently.
I'm away from home for two weeks and I've lost it (don't ask) so there's nothing I can do about it at the moment.
Was really annoyed at first but I've been delighted to find that for the most part my foreskin is now staying back on its own, which was my aim. It even seems to be getting to the point where it naturally wants to be back rather than wanting to roll over the head.
I'll start again when I get home when I can make a new one and continue for my original aim which was 12 months, but I'm delighted with the progress so far.

The rings were custom made by the jeweler. If you get gold wire and gold plumb you can also make the rings yourself. A cheaper solution are key rings in the appropriate size.
To wear the rings, it is beneficial if you have removed the Frenulum Praeputii. I removed Frenulum myself many years ago.
I like to wear 3 gold rings with a diameter of 23.5mm, because the glans can be pushed through in a relaxed state.

I've just reached my 6 month point with my glans ring and still going great.
My initial enthusiasm about my skin staying back in my earlier post on holiday was a bit premature, my skin still seems to gradually make it's way forward when not restricted by tight underwear (like briefs).
I've been wearing a ring since then and I am delighted at the loss of sensitivity in my glans, this means I'm much rougher during sex and when masturbating which I'm sure is increasing coronal flare.
