Is there any forum setting for how you handle pictures in threads?

Can you set to default to open in a new window?

Kind of irrititating to view large pictures in threads now.

Your photo taking device ought to be set for "post card size" if possible before taking. The oversize pictures are meaningless and the small ones you can't see.

You can always just middle-click (Ctrl+click, Cmd+click, right click "open in new tab", etc.) the attachments to open them all on new tabs and the browsers will auto-shrink them.
