Never tried it before, but I'll give it a spin when I have time.  I've been finding it okay to poke around on SMFs with my phone — although Chrome (on Android) is a horrible mess with text sizing.

The app is pretty neat, especially as a place to keep track of all the forums you frequently visit. The registration in the directory might even attract some new visitors :) The welcome screen and popup can be easily disabled so it should have zero impact on those who use a mobile browser. I'd be happy to help if you're interested :)
