Forum access FAQ (2020 May onwards)

Since a lot of people have been asking why this or that disappeared or why this or that doesn't work, I thought it's kind of hard to find the information in the bowels of a general Site Updates thread on the General Discussion board.

Forum access FAQ for how things work after May 2020

• Unregistered visitors cannot access forum post attachments, or see the Frenulum board.
• Freshly registered users cannot access forum post attachments, or see the Frenulum board.
• Corollary: underage visitors cannot access forum post attachments, or see the Frenulum board.
• Users with NSFW Access role can access all of the above.

To interact on the forum, you need to be over 18.  There's no point in registering before that age.

The role is given to people who seem to be legitimate users and aren't suspected to be too young.  A similar system is in place for the Discord chat.

To achieve this, please write a simple introduction.  Let the others here know you a little: what can we call you, what brings you to the forum, how old are you, and so on.  Go into as much or as little detail as you want.

Also, we aren't online 24/7.  Please have some patience.

So, in summary:

• Don't be a spam account.  (Anyone who reads this, probably isn't)
• Be over 18.
• Post an introduction — tell us about yourself a little bit, and what you're doing, why you're doing it, what brought you here, etc.  If you don't write about your age in the introduction (or anywhere else) it's not possible for us to know.  (For several months I thought this was common sense)
• Don't just wait silently and hope we'll notice your random account with zero posts — we aren't looking at people's accounts and their profile info all the time.  And besides, nobody likes leechers like that.
• This is absolutely not the right thread to ask for access.  Please also don't beg or demand access in your introduction.

And otherwise, have fun and enjoy the information on the site.

Your last post was over 4 years ago. Your profile says you are now 39. Did you travel near the speed of light with aliens or something? Anyway welcome to 2020 time traveler, you will find the world is now crazy.

I'd have to add on, it seems like a good system. As long you are mature and overall just chat with the community. It just takes a small amount of time to see photos and or the frenulum area of the forum.
